Acceptance is the key word for a healthy relationship and a successful marriage. Accept your partner/husband just as he is, not for you want him to be, meaning nobody’s perfect, all of us having our own strengths and weaknesses, therefore learning from our mistakes makes us a better person. Adapt to his way of life. Accept his friends, foods and life style as your own. Learn to like what makes him happy. Appreciate your partner/husband everyday. Say something nice to him to keep his day right, doing this makes him feel that he’s important to you. Learn to appreciate the things he does for you, a simple thank you will make him smile.

I definitely agree.I am also in a long-distance relationship right now and though there are some problems, my girlfriend and I are somehow happy and we continue to love each other
I do agree that some of life's best pleasures are its simplest ones.Enrich your life with the one thought of love and your heart will be more happy.
